REFLECTION explores the choices of everyday life, or rather the choices that we often chose not to make. When is not making a choice actually a choice in itself? That is the question asked by the two women in CoreAct, Anika K. Barkan and Helene Kvint. They’ve created a poetic and engaging micro cosmos, full of humor, bustle and inviting gestures where everyone is forced to reconsider ones choices or at least why these choices are avoided. The text are a collage of poems by the re-known Danish writer Vagn Steen.
The performance is framed by a brightly coloured sculpture created in collaboration with American artist Tom Fruin, who is widely known for exploring alternative fabric and material. Fruin has created a large mosaic installation/house where light and sounds are constantly changing. Light and sounds has been built up as an independent world in the hours when the performance is not on. The house therefore stands as a colourful and ever changing surprise in the well known streets of the city.
